Did you know that the color of the wine is not determined by the color of the grape?
Regardless of whether you crush red, green of blue grapes in the production process, the resulting juice is naturally a clear one. The wine actually gets its color from the skin of the grape. For a red wine, the juice, pulp and skin are mixed and processed into mash, while with white wine the juice is separated from the skin after a short time.
